Sofia Vergara may be hard to understand on Modern Family, but the results of a new AskMen.com poll are easy to comprehend: the actress has been voted The Most Desirable Woman of 2012.

Vergara, 40, is the oldest female yet to take home the title, and she follows last year's winner, Blake Lively; the 2010 champion Emmanuelle Chriqui; and Eva Mendes, who occupied the top spot in 2009.

Katy Perry to Perform at Grammy Awards, Super Bowl Pre-Party

Katy Perry has booked her first U.S. performances since breaking up with Russell Brand late last year. It looks like she's got a busy week ahead of her, too.

The 27-year-old hits the stage at a private pre-Super Bowl party in Indianapolis Saturday, then will do double duty on Grammy weekend in Los Angeles.

On February 10, she'll be among the headliners honoring Paul McCartney at the MusiCares benefit. Then it's on to the 2012 Grammy Awards February 12!

Perry is a nominee for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Solo Performance, and has enjoyed a record-setting year, making the Grammys a fitting return spot.

Katy has performed abroad as a single woman, just not in the U.S. In her first show since Russell Brand filed for divorce, Perry planted a kiss on a lucky fan's cheek.

A pic of Perry smooching the surprised, shirtless male onstage caused quite a stir on the Internet. Katy set the record straight on Twitter afterward, though:

"I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as part of my show for all 125 tour dates," she tweeted. "Simmer down now."

The Week in Kim Kardashian Tabloid Koverage: Scams & Sex!

It's been many minutes now since Kim Kardashian last made news - gasp! She has slightly lighter hair! - so we figured readers were anxious to find out what this reality star is up. In the eyes of the tabloids, that is.

First, according to In Touch Weekly, Kim is controlled in every conceivable way by mother Kris Jenner, who allegedly pushed her into having sex at age 14 and also brainwashed her with money. Hmmm... this is one magazine story we may actually believe.

Meanwhile, Reality TV Weekly is the latest source to claim that Kris Humphries plans to sue Kim in order to force her into a confession: that their marriage was a scam from the start.

Kris "wants the world to know how badly he was duped into this sham of a marriage," an insider says. "[Humphries] feels he was set up by the Kardashians. He wants to be able to tell his side. When he married Kim, he thought it was forever, but he realized Kim wasn’t in love with him and now believes he was merely a prop."

The power forward hopes a judge will soon overturn his prenup and then he can go on record legally with his Kardashian bashing, which we highly encourage him to do ASAP. It's a lot of fun.

School District Misspells "Shcool" in Street Out Front

This isn't a "wanna get away" Snickers ad, though it sure could be.

A giant, obvious misspelling on an NYC crosswalk has city, utility and school officials pointing fingers ... and hopefully asking for more funding for the next Spelling Bee.

Everyone involved could use a boost in that area, based on this story. Hilariously, the misspelling outside the Manhattan high school involves THE WORD "school."

The painted pavement on Stanton Street outside Marta Valle High School reads "SHCOOL X-NG," as seen here in footage captured by ABC News affiliate WABC.

The Department of Transportation claims the mistake was made by a utility provider conducting repairs, according to The NY Post, which first saw the mistake.

City officials say utility providers/contractors are responsible for returning city streets back to normal after repairs, but the school no doubt shares the blame.

After all, how do you not notice ... that of all things.

"Regardless of who painted it, someone from the school should have been outside supervising, or noticed it by now," a city worker said. "This is just sloppy."

And you thought THG's typos were bad.

Elephant Man O'Neil Bryan Arrested on Rape Charges

The rapper known as "Elephant Man" has been arrested in Jamaica on charges of sexual assault.

According to TMZ, information is still coming in, but O'Neil Bryan has been charged with rape for his alleged actions against a woman in his St. Andrew home last month.

Local outlets are reporting that the female in question filed an official report a couple weeks ago, which led to an investigation and the questioning of Elephant Man with his attorney present.

Following this interrogation, the rapper was charged with grievous sexual assault and rape. We'll update this story as more news breaks.

Amy Winehouse Death Investigation to Be Reopened?

Amy Winehouse's life had more than its share of controversy. In death, she is no different, as the coroner's inquest into her demise is coming under scrutiny.

British officials are currently investigating the coroner in charge of conducting the singer's medical examination and whether he was unqualified for the job.

There's a chance the investigation into Amy's cause of death could be reopened as a result. Not a strong chance, but a possibility. The reason being?

Coroner Suzanne Greenaway declared Amy Winehouse's cause of death was "misadventure," an unintended consequence of accidental alcohol poisoning.

The judgment was accepted and everything seemed to have been done by the books. However, Greenaway resigned from her job shortly thereafter.

It emerged that she failed to meet the standards required for coroner appointments: she logged just two-and-a-half of the necessary five years required.

While coroners are also expected to be "qualified medical practitioners," Greenaway's history of being simply a nurse in her native Australia also fell short.

She was appointed to the role by (yes) her husband, Inner North London Coroner Dr. Andrew Scott Reid, who has since apologized for his oversight.

While her declarations could potentially be declared illegal and need to be reopened by a more qualified professional, that is not a mandatory occurrence.

It would only occur if someone decided to challenge the verdicts in court, which does not seem likely from Amy's family, but can't be ruled out yet.

Emily Maynard on Being The Bachelorette: Terrifying!

While The Bachelor spoilers this season have people buzzing as always, there's no need to spoil this one: ABC has confirmed Emily Maynard as its Bachelorette.

"It really hasn't hit me, what I signed on to do," she says. "I'm scared to death."

Last June when Maynard and The Bachelor's Brad Womack ended their engagement, she swore she "had no intentions of ever being the next Bachelorette."

"I genuinely meant that," the 25-year-old explains, admitting that given her reversal,. "I feel like the biggest hypocrite because I said that and now I'm doing it."

What changed her mind? Believing in the process, even if she and Brad split.

"I know it can work," Emily Maynard says. "I fell in love the first time and no, we didn't get married, but in the end just falling in love, for me, is a success."

The show will film in Charlotte, N.C., where Maynard is raising daughter Ricki, 6, as well as in other locations - where it sounds like Ricki will go as well.

"She's not going to be involved in a lot of filming and certainly not meeting the guys," Emily says. "But she's excited to go on vacation with Mommy."

While many find it hard to believe that the blonde beauty would have trouble finding a date, Maynard says dating for single moms can be a challenge.

"My schedule is very different than a normal single guy's," she says. "I have to take things slowly because I have a daughter, so that makes it hard."

Production on The Bachelorette, which will air this summer, stars next month.

That's the back-handed compliment of a message Randy Jackson sent to viewers and Brittany Zika last night, telling the aspiring singer - following a great rendition of Brandi Carlile's "The Story" - that she looks "nothing like what you sound."

Meaning, we can only presume, that someone with a terrific voice ought to look more like Carrie Underwood and less like your local librarian?

Lindsay Lohan Moving Out of Beach House After Stalking Scare

Storage trucks were seen at Lindsay Lohan's home today, as the actress has apparently decided that one run-in with an alleged trespasser is one too many.

"Lindsay's house is more accessible than Starbucks," a source tells E! of her Venice Beach townhome, which has become a magnet for gawkers (and stalkers) of late.

"People sit in lawn chairs with cameras out on the sidewalk. That's one thing, but the incident where the lunatic knocked on her door was the last straw."

Long story short, she's outta there.

"It just got her thinking that she needs to move," the source says. "Lindsay contacted some real estate agents about properties that are gated and more secure."

In the interim, she's moved into the Chateau Marmont ... not a cheap place to live, but those Lindsay Lohan Playboy pictures netted her almost a mill. A mill!

So where's the resurgent star going to settle down when all's said and done?

"When someone makes a change like this (moving), it's natural for them to consider going back to their roots, and in this case, that would be New York."

Once her probation's over, look for a coast-to-coast move. Just a hunch.

Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul Confirm Judge's Departure from The X Factor

Yes, Paula Abdul really is out of The X Factor.

While no one doubted the veracity of this morning's report - which detailed the ousting of Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger and Steve Jones - the singer herself had not spoken out about the decision until now.

"I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations," Paula said in a statement. "Simon and I, along with Fox and [producers] Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation.

"Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle. I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful.”

Cowell also chimed in on the move, releasing his own statement that reads:

"I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of The X Factor last year. We had a lot of fun making the show together and importantly, we found some real talent and stars... I’m sure all three are going to have massive success in what they do next, but now is the time to thank them all for everything they did last year.”

Romeo Diahn on American Idol: From Refugee Camp to Hollywood

A total of 45 Golden Tickets were handed out in Portland last night, as American Idol made its first-ever stop in this Pacific Northwest city.

But one contestant made an impression above all others who were granted access to Hollywood: Romeo Diahn, a Liberia native who fled that country in the 1990s during its civil war and ended up in a refugee camp in Ghana.

As Steven Tyler notes in the following audition, Diahn literally sang for his life during his time there, and the result - as J. Lo puts it - is a unique "vibe and flavor" unlike anyone else the judges have seen.

It's an incredible story and we'll be keeping our eye on Romeo in Hollywood.

Britney Spears Planing for the Third Wedding?

Britney Spears is reportedly planning to get married for the third time. The boyfriend, Jason Trawick singer reportedly will apply for the song ‘Toxic’. The rumors spread after Jason went to one of the leading jewelry designers to discuss the diamond.

Quoted from Stuff, Trawick was seen in upscale Mouawad jewelry showroom in Los Angeles. Britney’s former manager was serious talk with the designer Pascal Mouawad. According to a source, they spent up to two hours talking about an engagement ring for Britney.

“They discussed Mouawad diamond from a private collection. This is the first time Jasin met Pascal,” said the source.

Britney and Jason had been dating since spring 2010. Previously, both could claim to be ready towards a more serious level in their relationship. Britney also seems to want a family with her partner.

“Britney wanted to married again and have more children. But she’s a woman who is holding the tradition and do not want to start a family with Jason until they tied the sacred,” said the source.

The woman was aged 29, was previously married twice. In 2004, she married Jason Alexander, a friend in high school in Las Vegas. But the wedding is cancelled 55 hours later.

Then in October 2004, Spears married with background dancer Kevin Federline and divorced in 2006. From Kevin, Britney has two children: Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Rick Santorum's Daughter Hospitalized; Duggar Family Fills in For Candidate on Campaign Trail

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum's daughter Bella, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18, was hospitalized over the weekend.

Santorum left the presidential campaign trail in Florida to be with his three-year-old daughter Bella, the youngest of the former U.S. Senator's seven children.

Bella was admitted to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Saturday but has since made a "miraculous turnaround," according to sources close to the candidate.

Rick Santorum’s 20-year-old daughter, Liz, appeared on his behalf in Sarasota, Fla., giving a brief speech to a crowd of about 250 at an airplane hangar.

"My dad wishes he could be here today," she said, according to The Palm Beach Post. "My dad today is exercising his most important role; being a dad."

Santorum also received some help from supporters Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of TLC's 19 Kids and Counting, who spoke at campaign events on his behalf.

The Florida primary is tomorrow.

Rick, who is lagging in polls behind Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, "intends to return to Florida and resume the campaign schedule as soon as possible."

Santorum often has spoken about how he never expected Bella to live to her first birthday, which would not be a stretch for a child born with Trisomy 18.

Trisomy 18 is a genetic disorder that kills about 90 percent of children before or during birth and those that do live past birth suffer serious symptoms.

Children with Trisomy 18 have an extra copy of chromosome 18, which causes symptoms like clenched hands, low birth weight and mental deficiency.

Here's wishing Bella, Rick, his wife Karen and all their children all the best in what has to be a tremendously difficult time for the Santorum family.

Lindsay Lohan Denies Boozing, Henry Hopper Makeout Session

Lindsay Lohan says there's no truth to reports she was boozing at a SAG Awards party this weekend, or making out with Henry Hopper, son of the late Dennis Hopper.

LiLo is threatening to sue media outlets that published the booze story.

A source close to the actress says she's exploring legal options with her lawyers, because she feels the false stories are sabotaging her effort to save her career.

She's also suing Pitbull over lyrics that diss her, so her credibility is low.

Lindsay acknowledges she was at the party at the Chateau Marmot - where she's living since moving out of her beach house - in Hollywood Sunday night.

However, she insists she was sitting with Alan Cummings the whole time and only drank water. As for Henry Hopper, she says the two are just friends.

Lohan is pissed over reports about a recent gas station makeout session with Dennis Hopper's son, where she allegedly purchased Red Bull and vodka.

Sources close to LiLo say the only items she bought that day were soda, chips, and cigarettes, and that she and Henry have never once hooked up.

Don Cornelius Suicide to Result in Major Ex-Wife Payout

There's a strange twist to the death of Don Cornelius.

As previously reported, the Soul Train creator took his own life early this morning via a gunshot to the head, as his son discovered his body and called 911. But it's another relative who will soon make news as a result of this tragedy.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the music icon passed away with a pair of life insurance policies in his name - and because the suicide took place more than two years after he signed them, they cannot be challenged by California law and around $300,000 will be handed out to Don's ex-wife, Viktoria.

Who Cornelius despised.

The couple got divorced in 2009, following a conviction for Don on a charge of domestic abuse and an allegation against his wife that she pepper sprayed him on numerous occasions.

Meanwhile, countless music industry folks expressed their sympathy for the Soul Train creator via Twitter, but we'll give the final word here to Aretha Franklin.

"It's so shocking and stunning. God bless him," the artist said. "He created a solid and broad foundation for young people and adults alike to socialize, dance and have good clean fun. He united the young adult community single-handedly... Everybody loved Soul Train and appreciated Don!"

Egypt Soccer Riot Kills at Least 79 People

An Egyptian soccer match between two longtime rivals descended into a violent melee yesterday as fans supporting the winning side rushed the field at the end.

They attacked players and fans in clashes that reportedly killed at least 79 people.

The clashes broke out in the town of Port Said after that city's team won a rare victory over the visiting Ahly, a powerhouse club from Cairo, by the score of 3-1.

Port Said "fans" swarmed the field immediately after the game, as Ahly players and fans ran for cover beneath the stadium and into locker rooms amid chaos:

The fighting quickly took on broad political overtones as The Muslim Brotherhood, which controls nearly half of the nation's parliament, blamed thugs connected to ex-President Hosni Mubarak who are plotting to destabilize the country.

Danny Gokey Marries Leyicet Peralta!

Heartfelt best wishes are in order for Danny Gokey and Leyicet Peralta.

The former American Idol finalist tied the knot with this model in Florida yesterday, Gokey's manager confirms to People, with the couple releasing a statement that reads:

"We are so thankful to have found each other and now be able to spend the rest of our lives together. We pray our gratitude grows more every day because there is so much for us to do now."

Gokey's first wife, Sophia, passed away in 2008 following surgery for congenital heart disease. Danny and Leyicet have since started a charity in her name and asked guests at their wedding for donations in lieu of gifts.

Described as a day of romance and love, Gokey adds that the event was concluded in the sweetest way possible: via a cake he says was "three tiers of chocolaty heaven."

Producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are looking for new ladies to add to the mix, and the latest, rumored name attached to that endeavor is Jennifer Flavin.

She's the wife of Sylvester Stallone.

Taylor Armstrong is reportedly terrified that she’s going to be axed from the hit show, and there is no doubting that Sly’s wife could add her own drama.

“Jennifer would be great on the show, she’s married to a super famous guy and she’s friends with a few of the women on the show,” the source said.

“She has her own business and she’s really successful all on her own. Plus she’s got a great personality that's tailor-made for Bravo and reality TV.”

Presumably that's a compliment?

Tabloid: Demi Moore Made Move on... Zac Efron!

Yes, Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last week, but multiple sources now report that the star's problems have been obvious to friends for a long time now.

She "tracked down" the former High School Musical star at a shindig, supposedly, and "seemed out of her mind at this party," an onlooker says.

Angelina Jolie: En Route to Rehab After Heroin Relapse (Tabloid Nonsensically Claims)!

Star’s cover story this week is all about Angelina Jolie and how she’s down to an emaciated 99 pounds due to shooting up heroin like a fiend apparently.

Three separate reasons this is ridiculous:

The magazine proclaimed Brad Pitt got Angelina Jolie pregnant not even a month ago. Guess that didn't pan out, given the image below?The cover photo of the star is hilariously Photoshopped to the point where her head and body don't even look proportional any longer.She looked slender, but healthy THIS WEEKEND.

While the 36-year-old actress is clearly thin, she's not anorexic. Her upper arms have some flesh on them, her cheeks look full enough, and so on.

Star's claim that the 5'7" actress weight has plummeted to 99 pounds seems full-on absurd, but that's their claim, citing the good ol' anonymous source:

“Angie has gotten so skinny and frail, Brad thinks she needs professional help,” the source said, adding that Brad staged an “intervention,” to get her help.

“Her face looks sunken. On the red carpet, her arms look like twigs.”

Uh huh. “Brad is really concerned with her eating habits,” the source adds. “She’s existing on cereal bars and smoothies and slipped to just 99 pounds."

"She is so thin yet will still go on a carrot-juice fast for days. Brad leaves food out all over the place hoping she’ll snack.” LOL. Sorry, we can't take anymore.

Taran Noah Smith, Home Improvement Kid, Arrested For DUI and Drug Possession

Taran Noah Smith, one of Tim Allen's kids on Home Improvement, was arrested early this morning for alleged DUI and drug possession, according to TMZ.

Hashish, to be specific. Or hash as the kids call it.

The now-27-year-old Smith was arrested in L.A. County around 1:00 a.m., and police believe he was under the influence of marijuana at the time of his arrest.

An alleged stash of hash (a type of weed) was found.

Smith, best known for his role as little Mark Taylor, is still in custody and was booked for the DUI and the drug possession, which is a felony. Not good.

He was allegedly behind the wheel of his '98 silver Honda Accord, which was parked at an angle in front of a fire hydrant when an officer investigated.

The police officer smelled a "strong odor" of weed and believed Smith was under the influence. He was brought in and booked shortly thereafter.

Mitt Romney "Not Concerned" About Poor People

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is in damage control mode after a comment he made about not being concerned about America's poorest people.

He said this pretty much verbatim. In context, but still.

"I'm in this race because I care about Americans. I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it," he told CNN.

"I'm not concerned about the very rich, they're doing just fine. I'm concerned about the very heart of the America, the 90-95 percent of Americans who right now are struggling, and I'll continue to take that message across the nation."

Asked to elaborate on the "very poor" part, because it sounded pretty bad, he did so, without taking it back. Was his answer satisfactory? Watch and decide:

Leslie Carter Cause of Death Unknown; Nick and Aaron Mourn Sister

The death of Leslie Carter remains unknown, pending a medical examiner's findings, as brothers Nick and Aaron Carter mourn this surprising and tragic loss.

The Erie County (N.Y.) Medical Examiner's Office is investigating, but, so far there has been no word on the cause of her passing. Leslie Carter was just 25.

Sadly, the family itself is for now as in the dark as their well-wishers, with a source close to the Carters calling the death as "mysterious" as it was abrupt.

Aaron Carter, currently starring in the off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, will be temporarily leaving his performing duties to his understudy.

"Aaron is taking a few days off from the show" due to these tragic circumstances, John Capo, the spokesperson for the production, said Wednesday.

"His Fantasticks family loves him and offers him support and prayers during this difficult time," Capo said. "Aaron's understudy and friend, Matt Leisy, will be covering Aaron's role until his return. We thank everyone for the outpouring of concern."

As for Nick Carter?

The boy band heart throb has time before he has to resume his professional duties - he isn't scheduled to hit the road with the Backstreet Boys until spring.

When he does, he'll do so with a new, admirable purpose.

"Nick Carter is thankful to the many people and the fans who have shared their wishes and prayers during this tragic time," his publicist, Jack Ketsoyan, told E! News.

"We want to let the fans know the tour will go on as promised."

"Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform," Nick Carter said.

Leslie Carter Death Caused By Drug Overdose?

Leslie Carter was battling addiction to prescription drugs in the days before her death, and family members believe she died as a result of an overdose.

According to TMZ, the 25-year-old sister of Nick and Aaron Carter recently moved from Canada to Upstate New York to live with family members.

Leslie Carter had been attempted to kick her addiction, they say.

The family had attempted to rid the home of any prescription medication, including Xanax, and were hopeful that Leslie was on the road to recovery.

Close sources say that family members believed Leslie would be OK to stay alone in the home for roughly an hour yesterday while they ran errands.

When they returned, TMZ reports, Leslie was unconscious and couldn't be saved. Her cause of death is unknown, but toxicology results are pending.

Her one-year-old daughter was not home at the time of her death.

Heidi Klum Tweets Thanks to Fans Post-Seal Split

Heidi Klum has broken her silence since she and Seal announced their separation last week, Tweeting thanks to her supporters in the wake of her surprise split.

The supermodel who hadn't Tweeted since January 15, acknowledged those who've helped her so far through the split from her husband of over six years.

"Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words," Klum wrote. "[It] really means so much. Thanks again to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi"

Seal, meanwhile, has given several interviews, and has described how he and Klum broke the news of their split to their children, while promoting his new album.

The singer also recently said on CNN that a reconciliation may happen.

Klum and Seal decided to part ways "after much soul-searching," they said in a statement. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and we will continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."

A holiday trip in December was said to be the final straw for the couple.

Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska is shooting down accusations that she has a problem with prescription drugs. The South Dakotan denies having an addition to Ambien.

An addiction to leopard print apparel and fake tanning, maybe, but not Ambien.

Star and HollywoodLife reported that Chelsea is hooked on Ambien and takes it with alcohol every night after her cute daughter Aubree goes to sleep.

A source close to Chelsea Houska says that's BS.

"It's completely false and disgusting," says a Houska confidante.

"She'd never do anything to jeopardize her life or her daughter's. It frustrates her since she feels it affects how people think of her as a mother and it's not even true."

Chelsea also personally spoke out about the false drug reports.

"Good thing outlets like @star_news (star mag) & @hollywoodlife have "accurate" sources that tell them false stories about me, nice research work :/" she Tweeted.

Groundhog Day 2012 Results: Shadow! Winter to Continue!

Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog, the myth, the legend, emerged from Gobbler's Knob this morning and saw his shadow, thus decreeing six more weeks of winter.

Of course, given the unseasonably warm temperatures and a lack of snow this winter throughout most of the northern U.S., maybe that's not the worst thing.

In any case, the central Pennsylvania celebrity made his annual weather forecast at daybreak Thursday before an overflow crowd of over 15,000 supporters.

Given reports of showers in the area, there were doubts going into this morning over whether there would be a shadow sighting, but evidently there was. Phil don't lie.

"Many shadows do I see: six more weeks of winter it must be," Phil said, according to the Washington Post, CNN, USA Today and local news reports.

According to legend and Groundhog Day folklore, Phil’s sighting of his own shadow on February 2 means there will be six more weeks of winter ahead of us.

Had Phil not it, it would have meant there will be an early spring.

Since the Groundhog’s first prediction in 1887, Phil has seen his shadow 99 times and failed to spot it just 16 times. There are 9 missing years in the record.

The official website of Punxsutawney Phil, perhaps not the most impartial source, claims the Groundhog has issued a correct forecast 100% of the time.

AccuWeather’s grade for the affable rodent’s weather prognostication skills is slightly lower than perfect, but still quite respectable at around 80 percent.

So bundle up ... or not. Gotta love climate change.

When it comes to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Cedric Martinez sort of knows what he's talking about. The Frenchman has appeared on the show as a house guest of Lisa Vanderpump.

And in a new email rant to Radar Online, Martinez says Bravo and Taylor Armstrong should be ashamed of themselves for the way they've exploited the suicide of Russell Armstrong.

"The producers, Taylor, Lisa and Kyle once again used the power of a hit TV show to trash the memory of a dead man," Cedric says. “Russell was far from perfect. And physical abuse is always wrong. But the Russell-Taylor marriage was a helluva lot more complicated than the ‘broke abuser commits suicide’ narrative RHOBH has shoved down viewers’ throats."

Martinez goes on to refer to both Taylor and Russell as "fame whores" (while acknowledging he is one, as well), adding that Taylor's upcoming memoir, "Hiding From Reality," is nothing but a pathetic example of someone looking to prosper off a tragedy.

“Her insta-memoir will further bury Russell's memory with lies and half-truths, of which he can't defend himself against. Sad. Especially for Russell's children, Kennedy, Griffin and Aiden."

In the book, Taylor details ways in which Russell supposedly spied on her during their marriage.

Michelle Obama Visits Tonight Show, Jay Leno Actually Eats Vegetables!

First Lady Michelle Obama cajoled Jay Leno into eating healthy foods for the first time in ... oh, ever during her visit to the Tonight Show on NBC Tuesday.

Promoting her “Let’s Move!” campaign to get kids excited about fitness and healthy diets, Michelle brought out some food to make an example out of Jay.

As both Jay and Michelle joked repeatedly about his eating habits, Leno sampled apples, sweet potato fries and a pizza made with eggplant, peppers and zucchini.

Could've used some sausage, but even Jay conceded it wasn't bad.

Michelle Obama encouraged Jay to dip his apple in honey made from beehives in the White House garden: “It will help it go down easier,” she said.

“'White House honey'? That just sounds bad,” Leno replied, adding, “You know, with a different president that could mean a whole different thing.”

In California to promote her initiative and attend a pair of fundraising events, Michelle also talked about her daughters and her husband's reelection campaign.

She even praised Mitt Romney singing at a recent event. Classy woman.

Newt Gingrich: Sued Over "Eye of the Tiger" Intro Music!

Poor Newt Gingrich. Already under siege from Super PACs, media members and politicians in the tank for Mitt Romney, guy is about to lose his own theme song!

The candidate is being sued by a company which owns the rights to Survivor's 1982 hit "Eye of the Tiger," for using the inspirational Rocky III tune at campaign events.

Rude Music Inc., owned by a member of Survivor, filed the suit against Newt for jacking the song to push a political agenda ... that the band clearly isn't a fan of.

Newt, who has surged into contention for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, has been using the song at various political events from 2009-present.

And probably not for much longer.

RMI claims Gingrich, along with his campaign team, Newt 2012, Inc., recently  used the song during a campaign event in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, claiming:

"Mr. Gingrich entered the packed Moose Lodge for a speech as ["Eye of the Tiger"] 'pulsed' through the room, according to the the Newt 2012, Inc. website."

Gingrich isn't the first GOPer to be sued for using music - Jackson Browne sued John McCain for using "Running on Empty" in 2008 - and likely won't be the last.

On the plus side, Ron Paul can use any Kelly Clarkson song he wants.

Actress Sandra Bullock has always seemed in harmony with the cool widower Ryan Reynolds. Having often seen together after the expiration of their respective divorces, Sandra and Ryan is rumored has been officially dating.

Octomom on Kids: Eight Pieces of POOP!

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman shared some thoughts on her octuplets, who just turned three, on UStream this weekend. She likened raising them to fecal matter.

To be fair, she did not say they're crap overall, and believes the blessings far outweigh the negatives. Still, you may want to reconsider your word choice, Nads.

In a 30-minute nonsensical rant, Octomom lashes out for 21 minutes against her haters, whom she calls "obsessors" that "hide behind their computer screen."

She then gets into the "joy" of child-rearing ...

Recalling the conception of her octuplets, Nadya Suleman acts like she had no control in the matter and says she prayed, "Please God, don't let there be eight!"

She says she's not showing them on UStream because "I want to protect them and ... I got in trouble a little bit showing the eight in the beginning." Mmm.

About 19 minutes in, she says, "Is this easy? God no, it's not easy at all! I'm not going to be trying to don any façade and say 'Oh yeah, life is a piece of cake.'"

"It's not. It's a piece of poop ... eight pieces of poop, all day long."

Nadya then adds that the "rewards outweigh anything negative" and that "Your opinion of me and my family, it's none of my business, so lets keep it that way."

Perhaps referring to her kids as poop isn't the best way to assure that, Octo, but it looks like she's keeping her weekly UStream show going. Thank goodness.

Angelina Jolie Downplays Brad Pitt Marriage Talk

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie really headed down the altar soon?

That's what could be expected, given Pitt's recent comments about the pressure to - and his desire to - propose, but according to Jolie, that's premature.

"I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion," Jolie told People Sunday night at the SAG Awards, when asked about "a lot of ring-talk lately."

"Yeah, that was my fault," Pitt admitted with a smile.

Guess we know who wears the pants in that house.

The speculation about wedding bells in the near future for the famous couple stem from Pitt's remark that Brangelina is "getting a lot of pressure from the kids."

"It means something to them," he continued, adding that he would like to marry Angelina, and that "We will [get married] someday, we will. It's a great idea."

"'Please, get mommy a ring.' 'OK, I will, I will.' "

"It seems to mean more and more to our kids," he said. "I don't think we'll be able to hold out … it means something to me, to make that kind of commitment."

Probably not until Angelina demands it, however.

Brad Pitt adds that he and Angelina Jolie aren't exactly searching for themselves either, for good reason. "We don't even notice all the noise," he said.

The same could be said for his stance on aging. Despite being just two years away from the big 5-0, the Moneyball star says he enjoys getting older.

"I love becoming an older man. Your thoughts get clearer."

Those thoughts may include a wedding in the works. The actor told The Hollywood Reporter - for real this time - that he would like to marry Angelina.

"It seems to mean more and more to our kids," he added.
